About Alva Nexo

Alva Nexo began with curiosity: the instinct to understand how something works, why a process creates friction, and how technology could be used differently to produce a better result.

Turning curiosity into creation, and possibility into practical progress.

01

Where it starts

As a child, Felipe spent hours with his grandfather, a mechanical engineer, taking apart, repairing and reassembling electronic devices in the garden. What began as childhood curiosity became a lasting way of looking at things: understand how it works, see where it could be better, keep learning.

02

Curiosity became a way of working

That curiosity turned into a professional focus at the intersection of business and technology. Through finance, reporting, data analysis and process improvement, Felipe learned to see both the detail inside a system and its effect on the wider organisation — and became interested less in what a tool was designed to do than in what useful outcome it could help create.

A consistent method emerged: begin with the real challenge, understand the people and processes around it, then look beyond the conventional use of technology to find something practical.

03

Why now

Accessible AI opened a new chapter. It made it possible to translate business understanding and product ideas into working applications faster than before. The distance between identifying a problem and creating something useful became much shorter.

Alva Nexo grew from the decision to take that step: a place to learn through making, to create products that simplify everyday life, and to help small and medium-sized businesses improve their processes, finances and ways of working.

Today

A solo studio with two connected sides

It helps businesses improve how work gets done — through discovery, digital development and practical applications of AI. It also builds its own products, applying the same focus on usefulness, simplicity and real users, and bringing what is learned there back into client work.
